What We Do
The United Brain Association, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit raising monies to support education and research into over 600 Brain and Mental Health-related issues and disorders facing each of us daily, and our children tomorrow.
Through our website and social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok, we currently provide Brain Resources on more than 450 neurological and psychological issues and disorders. Information includes description, detection, causes, treatments, caregiver tips, and current research in progress. Our website and social platforms also host Brain Stories, composed by members of our community, detailing their journeys along their paths of brain and mental health-related diagnosis, offering guidance and inspiration to those recently diagnosed and those seeking to understand themselves.
Our Mission is to treat all matters of the mind with equal respect and determination, realizing that brain and mental health-related issues and disorders occur within one’s mind. At the United Brain Association, No Mind is Left Behind.
We are funded by the generous endowment of our Founder, John Boulton, along with crowd-sourced contributions from our ever-increasing community. To date, we have supported research into Depression, Parkinson’s Disease, Anorexia, and Bulimia at Johns Hopkins Medical Institute, PTSD at Yale University, Alcoholism at New York University – Langone, and Epilepsy Treatments at The University of Arizona. With the support of our community, we strive to support a broad spectrum of research into the continually evolving field of human cognition.
