In Memory of Ruth N. Tighe

Ruth N. Tighe was born in 1919 and went by many names: Pete, Ruthie, and Grum, to name a few. She made countless friends over the course of her long and rewarding life. One afternoon, during her weekly bridge club gathering, Ruth detected a tremble in her hand as she dealt the cards. Ruth was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1999 and fought the good fight, with her family and friends at her side, until her passing in 2010. Ruth’s enduring spirit and zest for life will always be with her loved ones. Please help us memorialize Ruth by donating to Parkinson’s research. Your generous donation will advance our understanding of the disease and make inroads into treatments and, someday, cures.
